On the left is Rose, wife of Alfred Stevens, Thomas Stevens son. In the middle is Wistar Stevens, son of Rose and Alfred, and on the right is Edith Stevens, daughter of Rose and Alfred.
Edith Stevens, daughter of Rose and Alfred. She never married and you can find her listed in the census as a lodger working as a clerk for the State Department.
Wistar Burton Stevens. Wistar lived most of his life in Ohio. He married Leah Brockman who was from Michigan. They lived the last years of their lives in Clearwater, Florida.

The woman in the middle is Emma Stevens, daughter of Thomas Stevens.
On the back it says Abbie B. Gould Jan. 1878 37 years. Abbie is the daughter of Thomas Stevens. She married John Henry Gould. Later in life she painted water colors.
Abbie’s son Alfred Henry Gould. He graduated from Harvard College in 1896 and from the Harvard Medical School in 1900. He taught Clinical and Operative Surgery at Harvard. In 1906 he wrote a book titled "The Technic of Operations Upon Intestines and Stomach." He died Oct. 2, 1907 after an illness of about 1 week of acute malignant endocarditis (inflamation of the heart). He was 34 years old and 10 months.
On the back it says - Aunt Ruth grandpa's sister 98 years old. Ruth Stevens sister of Thos. J. Stevens. She married Norman Whitmore. This picture was taken shortly before she died. She died in Charlestown, Mass. where Thomas Stevens lived and she is buried in the Town Cemetery, Enfield, New Hampshire where she was born.
